Schedule 2010
The WMBL Schedule for the upcoming 2010 season has been finalized, and here it is! The season has been expanded to 42 games, up from 40 last year, giving us one more home game and one more away game. Season tickets are being printed now. When they are ready, we will let you know where to find them. If you would like to be put on a "call list" send us an email and we will get back to you when they are ready!

Take Me Out!!!
“Take Me Out to the Ball Game” is a classic, just as our Swift Current Indians Baseball team is. Where else can you go this summer to see great baseball, get ice cold refreshments and, of course, your diamond hot dog?
Let’s start with the facts:
* Since the team's re-inception back into the league the team has made the playoffs an unprecedented 22 times in 23 years
* Since 1989 the team has played in the championship final 14 times in 20 years (SMBL and WMBL)
* In the WMBL, the team has captured 6 consecutive division pennants in a row - no other team in the WMBL has done so.
* The team has won 9 League Championships since 1992 ('92, '94, '96, '97, '98, '00, 02' '05, and '06)
* Since the renaming of the league (2000) from the Saskatchewan Major Baseball League to the Western Major Baseball League Swift Current has played in the championship final in 8 out of past 9 years.
To be honest, we think we've said enough. But let’s go on: a beautiful park that has the never-ending care and attention from all of our volunteers and ball players, great prizes to be won at every game, and a place to bring the kids to safely run around and make some spending money. Don't forget the new and improved great in-game events that we have relentlessly have been working on to provide safe, fun and playful entertainment for your whole family.
